5th grade wrap up
I enjoyed learning about Greece the most. I enjoyed it because I got to learn about the gods, and the gods are what interested me the most. I most interesting thing I found was that the Ancient people believed in the afterlife. I am doing pretty good on the following:
report writing
geography
connecting info
Some things that I need to work on are:
note taking
identifying key facts in reading
This is my mixbook. I made it for my 5th grade social studies laurel.
This is my animoto video that I made for a school project.
Research project
My research project was a harder topic than I expected. Though most of it was fun to work on. Here are my thoughts on my project: I was most successful with the creative part of my project. Though once again I did find parts that were difficult. What was most difficult was finding good notes. I think that next time I will go to the library and read as many books as possible. In the meantime, I will try and practice to take good, and organized notes. For my creative part of my project I made clay objects that represented signs of power, including the crook and flail, and the pharaohs beard. I enjoyed making the clay objects, and they turned out great
